Hebrews 11:13 All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.
Strangers and exiles on the earth! NOT strangers and exiles when not in the promised land. Strangers and exiles ON Earth. This earth.
It seems true and real faith, according to Hebrews great hall of Faith chapter isn’t so much concerned about THIS earthly land.
Instead…
Hebrews 11:16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.
And then…
Revelation 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
Those concerned with Middle East dirt apparently aren’t exiles on this earth but citizens of this earth. It’s better to look for a New Heaven and a New Earth. Abraham did and so should you.
Earth IS our home, just NOT this one.
A New Earth, without sin and curse, the earth, Jesus brings with Him. Jesus is our hope and His Heavenly City, brought to earth, is our future.
Middle East dirt isn’t HOPE for anyone who has true Faith like Abraham.
Get your eyes off the Middle East and onto Him, where they belong. Dear brothers and sisters, dwelling in unbelief, look up for your help is not in rejecting the one who has come and is coming again but in repenting which is believing.
Soli Deo Gloria
