As Martin Luther sparked needed Reformation so we today need a Reformation in Eschatology. A reclaiming of sanity more like it.
Rapture Fever is in full swing (staring Oct 7, 2023) as Israel finds itself in a real mess. The unprovoked Hamas attacks are horrible. The mess, not of their own doing, has Israel in the minds of the Dispy’s and they’re not wasting the opportunity to capitalize on the Middle east mess to promote ideas, fabrications really, of their mentor and originator John Nelson Darby.
For those concerned: Rapture is a favorite Dispy recasting of a biblical truth, better known as the 2nd Coming of Christ. I recommend this link and article on the The Ninety-Five Theses Against Dispensationalism.
If you recognize yourself in this article you’re not alone. The majority of evangelicalism is right there with you. I was there for many years but found there are more reasonable and sane thoughts to be had on the topic of eschatology.
It turns out making up great charts isn’t enough when the biblical text say something different from your theology.
