Appreciating the magnitude of the red wave victory on Nov 5, several considerations come to mind.
We still have two months under a precarious dementia administration and a world full of dangerous actors who know the clock is running out. I genuinely feel sorry for Joe Biden (dementia and all), but I am immensely angry at the Democratic Party who deliberately hid his condition and then circumvented democracy to hang on to the scepter. This may be the single biggest underlying cause for such a dramatic shift. They deserve such a devastating defeat. They lied for four years.
They simply lied to us! What else have they been lying about? I think the majority, based on Nov 5 results, think they’ve lied about A LOT of things.
MSM in many respects didn’t get the seismic shift memo that the majority are not buying their propaganda and rhetoric. They continue to blame others, as is par for the victimhood mentality that goes with identity politics, which they are champions of.
Hysterical and hyperbolic reactions to this major and commanding victory are symptoms of ideological blindness. Reacting with pinpoint concern for what this might mean to me and my group is myopic. The majority of the nation has spoken in an unambiguous way.
Continuing to demonize TRUMP only fuels the momentum and resolve of this direction.
I would confidently say that in 4 years, if the Republicans FAIL to do what the American people have clearly given them the mandate to do, Kamala, in all her unclarity and catchphrase Marxism, could run and win. BUT, if the Republicans can do everything the people have elected them to do and remain focused and single-minded, then they will run on the very question asked this election cycle.
Kamala was a strategic blunder, and I doubt we’ll ever hear of her again. If we do, it will be confirmation that the Democrats have not listened or learned.
In four years, the question will be, “Are you better off now than when we began this righting of America?” If the answer is yes, then I fully expect a legacy administration for this new hybrid Republican Party.
In the end, my hopes don’t reside in either party. I’m absolutely confident both sides can go bad. I’m not thrilled we have such a large division in this country, but the ideological divide is not trifling and insignificant. Identity politics is cancerous at all levels, and so I’m not a single bit sympathetic at its excision.
We need the balance of Law and Grace reflected in our country. The truest equity is at the foot of the cross. There’s only one God and His Only Begotten Son. The Father has promised to put all His enemies under His feet.
Is this some of that? Maybe. There’s no mistakes in God’s providence, but knowing what lies ahead is a completely different question. Eyes wide open to see what sort of event it is we just witnessed on Nov 5.
