Reigning Now – Why Dispensationalism’s Third Temple Push Is a Present Danger

A 7-Part Blog Series Starting Next Week

On March 5, 2026—Tucker Carlson released a 94-minute monologue (see link below) that cut through the usual war commentary and named something most mainstream outlets won’t touch:

“There are key players involved in this war… who believe that what we’re seeing… will begin with the destruction of the Dome of the Rock, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and then the rebuilding of the Third Temple, after which the world will end… And they mean it.”

He played the viral clip of Pastor Greg Locke openly calling for a missile strike on the Dome of the Rock “so we can get that Third Temple rebuilt and usher in the coming of Jesus.” He pointed to IDF soldiers wearing Third Temple patches. He named the Chabad movement and American Christian Zionists as part of the picture.

This is not 2010s prophecy conference talk.

This is March 2026, with active conflict in the region and real preparations already complete in Jerusalem.

While the world watches rockets and diplomacy, a specific theological system—dispensational premillennialism—has moved from books and Bible studies into concrete action. Not because it’s biblical but because it is advantageous to those profiting off of sensationalism and end of world hype.

A few key efforts:

  • The Temple Institute has finished nearly every sacred vessel, trained over 500 priests, and is guarding four perfect red heifer candidates at Shiloh (the final requirement before sacrifices can resume).
  • Organizations like Christians United for Israel (CUFI) with 10+ million members keep the funding and political pressure flowing.
  • Millions of evangelicals (73% in repeated surveys) view current Middle East events as direct fulfillments of Revelation and necessary steps toward a rebuilt Temple.

This belief system insists that a literal Third Temple with animal sacrifices must be rebuilt on the exact spot of the Dome of the Rock before the Tribulation and the “real” reign of Christ can begin. It treats the current church age as a temporary parenthesis and postpones Jesus’ kingdom until after a future 7-year Tribulation and 1,000-year millennium.

The result? A growing number of believers—and the pastors and organizations they follow—are no longer just watching prophecy. They are (and have been for some time) helping fund it, lobby for it, and in some cases openly cheering actions that could ignite wider religious war.

That is why this series matters right now. Iran has sparked a feverish ideological push.

What the Series will cover:

Thursday – The Dispensational Framework — Postponing Christ’s Reign

Focus: Explains how dispensational premillennialism works: church age as parenthesis, postponed kingdom, separate Israel/Church plans—key verses (Daniel 9, 2 Thess 2, Rev 11), and admissions from progressive dispensationalists that today’s reign is incomplete.

Friday – Christ Reigns Right Now — The Biblical Reality

Focus: Scripture-heavy affirmation: Jesus has all authority now (Matt 28:18; Eph 1:20-23), reigns until enemies subdued (1 Cor 15:24-28), true Temple is the church, finished sacrifice (Heb 10), one new man in Christ (Eph 2; Acts 2).

Saturday – The Serious Cost — Theology That Rejects the Cross & Risks War

Focus: Highlights latent rejection of Christ’s present reign, collision with gospel truths (one new man, finished cross), promotion of idolatry, and real-world dangers like geopolitical recklessness and justifying conflict for prophecy.

Sunday – What Now? A Better Way Forward for the Church

Focus: Practical steps: boldly teach Christ’s finished work and present reign, center the cross, pray for Israel’s gospel salvation (not Temple projects), reject fear-speculation, live as the true Temple and one new humanity.

This is not an attack on love for Israel or on Jewish people. In fact quite the opposite. Ironically supporting Israel towards these efforts is to promote and anesthetize them to the Messiah they reject.

This is not right activity for the Church to be promoting.

It is a loving, Scripture-saturated warning to the Church: the King is already on the throne. Any theology that requires us to wait for a future building project in Jerusalem is not only mistaken—it is actively dangerous in 2026.

Starting next week, one post per day (Monday through Sunday), we will walk through the facts on the ground, the theology behind them, and the clear biblical answer that sets us free from fear-based prophecy speculation.

The hope of the gospel has never been a Third Temple for Jew or Gentile. God’s timeline is not hung up because of Jewish rejection. Misunderstanding, poor theology and profit opportunity make this a fantastic marketing endeavor for those promoting sensationalized end times mania.

It has always been Jesus—the Lamb who was slain, the Priest who sat down, the King who reigns now and will hand a perfected kingdom to the Father when every enemy is under His feet.

I invite you to read, share, and prayerfully consider the series with an open Bible.

The King reigns today. Let’s live like it.

See you Monday. The King is on the throne—right now.
